A blue to black colouring is produced on silver, silver alloys and copper by dipping the object into it. The colouring can be shaded to any desired shade by rubbing with pumice powder or polishing. As only thin layers are applied, the lustre of the metal surface is not altered. The bath is delivered ready to use.
